Ferox Signed Cooperation Agreement with N-GINE Corporation

The N-GINE Corporation developed and manufactures a nitrogen gas driven motor for leisure boats. The company is located in California, West Lake Village with a representative office and research and development facility in Deggendorf, Germany. The 10 months young company has already caught a lot of public attention especially after their “Open House” on June 26 when they demonstrated their first Pontoon boat powered by a nitrogen motor.

German TV stations, Radio stations as well as Bavarian governmental representatives joined the spectacle. Ferox’s Tomas Knobloch, product manager packaged gas, was invited and interviewed by DonauTV that day (see here for movie-download).

An exclusive supply agreement for the on-board nitrogen storage tanks and fueling stations was negotiated between the parties during July in a great atmosphere of understanding and joint effort completed on July 30, 2003.

Gerd Kirchgässner, Chairman & CEO of Ferox commented: “The N-GINE drive system is an environmentally friendly means to reduce air pollution and water contamination. N-GINE and Ferox are targeting market segments where these issues are of special importance.”

N-GINE’s President and Chairman, Heinrich Schmid said: “Ferox is an important partner for us on our way to get the drive system to a standard. A cryogenic tank is an integral part of our system.

Monaco Yacht Show
N-Gine and Ferox will exhibit on the
Monaco Yacht Show in September 24 to 27, 2003.
