Thermax - Ferox Alliance
Following the success of the current Chart-Thermax alliance throughout the USA both parent companies are proud to announce the new alliance with Chart’s European entity, Ferox in the Czech Republic.
This new alliance covers the manufacture of Thermax Inc. designed ambient air vaporisers within our excellent workshops and facilities. “This new alliance will give us considerable competitive advantage throughout Europe, the Thermax designs are extremely well designed for manufacture and will reduce the amount of labour and materials needed to produce these standard units. Thus utilising the advanced Thermax thermal designs with the favourable labour cost of the Czech Republic to the full” Said Martin Cekal, Director Standard Products & Supply - Ferox.
The scope of supply will initially cover a full range of 'Super Gap™’ ambient air aluminium finned vaporisers from 50-6000 Nm³/hr in a single module, and operating pressures from 40 bar (aluminium) and stainless steel lined units up to 420 bar.
Bespoke
applications will be also available utilising Thermax dedicated application
engineers within the UK and USA, where designs for all types of vaporisation
(liquid to gas) systems can be designed.
Thermax offer a complete product portfolio for liquid to gas applications
utilising all heat transfer mediums, such as: air/gas/electric/steam/hot
and cold water.

Main aluminium extrusions will be supplied by Alcan in Decin, Czech Republic, only 50 metres from the Ferox fabrication facility, therefore minimising the logistics for component supply, and reducing the cost of transportation of raw materials.

All units will be of the highest quality, undergo strict quality checks and controls before final despatch and will be supplied in accordance with the applicable PED and CE requirements. Our Notified Body – TüV, has approved all designs and workshop procedures.
